The story of a wolf who believed in Rasulullah SAW

The story of a wolf who believed in Rasulullah SAW
this story happened at the time of the Prophethood Muhammad SAW. In an area, there lived a goat herder. He takes care of hundreds of goats and sheep. Every morning, the man brought all the livestock he entrusted to him to the meadow, near the oasis.

One day, the shepherd was cheated. A wolf managed to pounce on a sheep that escaped from the crowd. He immediately chased the wolf earlier and frightened him with a swing of the stick.

The hunted sheep were fat, so that this carnivorous had difficulty carrying them away. The shepherd also forcibly pulled the sheep from the clutches of the wolf.

"O fulan, why are you so wrong? Allah has appointed the sheep as my sustenance for today, why did you take it from me?" said the wolf then.

How surprised this man was when he heard the wolf speak to him. "You ... Can you talk !?" he said in amazement.

"Why are you looking at me in surprise? You should know there is something more astonishing than a wolf that can speak," said the animal.

"What is that?"

"In Medina, there is a prophet and apostle that Allah sent to all of nature. However, many people who actually rebel and are reluctant to believe in him. The name of the prophet, the Prophet Muhammad shalallahu 'alaihi wasallam," said the wolf.

The next day, the shepherd was determined to go to Medina, to meet directly the figure told by the wolf earlier. A journey that is not easy for him to take with patience.

Finally, he arrived at Medina. After asking a number of local residents, the shepherd arrived in front of the Prophet's Mosque.

Long story short, he had the opportunity to meet the Prophet Muhammad. To him, he also told his story until he arrived in Medina.

Rasulullah SAW confirmed the story of the shepherd. That is, he is not surprised that there is an animal that blatantly shows his faith in Allah and His Messenger. Furthermore, it turns out to be a sign of the approaching End of Days.

"That is one of the signs of doom," he said.

This story is contained in the hadith narrated by Abu Hurairah and Abu Sa'id al-Khudri, and Imam Ahmad. Expert commentator Ibn Kathir considered his sanad valid.
